പരസ്പരം കത്തുകൾ കൈമാറി

പനനീർ പൂക്കളും മധുരവും
ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ അധിതികളായെത്തി
കണ്ണുകളാൽ വായിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത
ചുണ്ടുകളാൽ മൊഴിയാണ് മടിച്ച
എന്നും കേൾക്കാൻ കൊതിച്ച
പ്രണയത്തെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ
ആഴങ്ങളിൽ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചത് നാം
എന്തിനു വേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നു
എന്നും നമ്മളിരിക്കാറുള്ള
മലഞ്ചെരുവിൻ താഴെ
കുളിർമഞ്ഞിനാൽ മരവിച്ചെങ്കിലും
പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ ഇളംചൂട് പകരാൻഇരു
കൈകളും നീട്ടി കാത്തുനിൽപ്പുണ്ടാകും.
